Looking for a NEW CLCCF Director

The Cascade Lower Canyon Community (CLCCF) Forest includes approximately 26,000ha forest land largely in the vicinity of the Town of Hope.  The CLCCF is a three-way partnership between the District of Hope, the Yale First Nation, and the Fraser Valley Regional District.  The CLCCF is looking for a new Director to represent the Fraser Valley Regional District.  The Directors work with the General Manager in the best interest of the community forest.  Interested Applicants can refer to the CLCCF website located at www.clccf.ca, under the Menu tab “Board and Mngt” for full details of Directors duties and CLCCF structure. 

Interested persons are to submit their completed applications to info@clccf.ca or drop off their applications at 314 Hudson Bay Street Hope BC in care of the CLCCF General Manager.

Deadline date is October 24, or until position filled.

New Full-time General Manager:

The CLCCF has hired a new full-time General Manager based out of the Yale First Nation office in Hope. Matt Wealick, RPF started on July 12, 2017 and comes to the CLCCF with a wealth of relevant information and experience. The CLCCF looks forward to working with Matt to further the Mission and Vision Statement and Corporate Plan objectives.

New Directors for Cascade Lower Canyon Community Forest

The Cascade Lower Canyon Community Forest, a 3-way community forest partnership of the District of Hope, the Yale First Nation and the Fraser Valley Regional District, from time to time needs new volunteer (unpaid) Directors on a 6 person Board. Each Director represents one of the shareholders, working with the General Manager toward the best interests of the community forest. As of February 2017, there are currently enough Directors for the District of Hope and FVRD.

Interested applicants are to:

– download a copy of the “Corporate Governance Policy” below. Read this policy for full details of Director’s duties and responsibilities as well as the CLCCF corporate, management and operational structure.

– download, print and complete a copy of the “New Directors Application Form” below.

– submit your completed application either to info@clccf.ca or by mail to CLCCF, PO Box 377, Hope, BC V0X 1L0. There is no application deadline.
